I moved him to the old barn up the street while he's on stall rest - through the end of March/beginning of April. He seems happy enough looking out his window all day every day and his legs continue to have no swelling or heat. His back is getting less and less sore all the time, so I think this stall rest thing is really working. He's finally starting to take a turn and get better.
I brush him, spoil him, stretch him out, and take him on little 5 or 10 minute walks every day (when the ice isn't too bad). He seems happy and cheerful - even gets a little rowdy on his walks sometimes.
