Jimmy never ceases to amaze me. Last week I took him on a walking-only trail ride, then I decided to ride him in hte arena & he felt great at the walk, so I let him trot a little and he was sound as can be!!! So Sunday I hacked him and what do you know? Wonderfully sound. WILD as all hell, but sound :-)
So, I'm very excited to have my horse back. Sound as ever :-) His supplements came today & tomorrow after I ride Bananas I will go out & ride my dude and spoil him :-D
Sorry Lucy, Jimmy is going to be too wild for you for a little while, until I can find the time to balance riding at another farm and taking care of getting him into shape. I agreed to start exercising other people's horses before I realized that JC would be healed so soon!!!!
Oh - And Jimmy has a girlfriend. Another Quarab :-) She's grey & her name is Luna <3 He loves her (even if she's a total flirt!!)
Tomorrow JC gets his spring shots by Dr. J and his feet trimmed. Big day for Little J!
