Happy Ride Last Night!!!

Bill went out with me last night and finally got to see me ride my own horse. We've dated for 6 months and he's only seen my ride Jimmy once- bareback, so it doesn't even count. Hahaha. So he liked watching "Jim the Horse" (as he adoringly calls him) in action.

The frog of his right front is overgrown, and causing some splitting and soreness in his bulb, but he's not super tender, just turning to the right. I think the exercise on flat ground is still good for him, and he definitely still enjoys it. I don't ever push him to do things if he isn't comfortable or happy doing them (except lateral work. that WILL happen, James!) Thankfully, the farrier will be out next Tues. He was supposed to be here this past Tues, but he bailed... Hmmm not happy. I hope he makes it out the 6th as scheduled!
