Last Night

Unfortunately, my initial thoughts were correct. The footing SUCKS. It will be another few days (until they drag the arena...) until I can ride him again. The trails will definitely be too mucky, so that's out of the question.

Our ring is too rocky for me to do anything unless it's drug. Last night I gave it the benefit of the doubt (rushing like a mad woman to get on before the sun set...) and it was just too rocky. He was NOT at all happy about it. So after 5 minutes I got off and called it a day.

I'm dreaming of sunnier days....
