Well I'm certain the injections did the trick. Last night Jimmy came out of his stall, leaping, romping, and squeeling... I'd say he finally feels better :-)
In our three laps around the property, he was leapt and squeeled at least once per lap, so excited to be feeling better he could barely contain himself. This was the first time he's done anything like this since well before the surgery!!! HE FINALLY FEELS BETTER!!!!
Granted, blowing up for Jimmy requires a significant, obvious (to me) build up, so I just kind of counted down "3...2....1...." and WHAM!!!!!! there he'd go. Haha. Lucky for me I know exactly how to quiet him down so he only got one good rear/strike/buck/kick-out per explosion and he'd settle back down and walk all huffed and puffed like a bad-ass until the next one, 2 minutes later. He looked pretty gorgeous walking like that, I've gotta admit!!!
Tonight is our LAST NIGHT OF HAND WALKING. Tomorrow morning he goes outside. Pray he behaves... ;-)

Glad he's feeling better, and good luck with the turnout tomorrow!
Many thanks! I'm having them do it in the morning when I'm not there. If I watch, every move he makes will give me a heart attack. I said "Put him out for an hour while you clean stalls, and bring him back in. If he's REALLY nuts, tell me and I'll come out at night & give him bute. Otherwise, just don't tell me." haha I'm much better when I just don't know.
Yay! I love it when they're happy and healthy:D Yesterday, Bella kept bucking after we'd jump the line, because she was so proud of herself. Sometimes, misbehaving is just the right medicine for a horse owner, haha.
